What we collect

On this site: your email address if you join the waitlist, and anonymous visit statistics (page views, country, device type) through a self-hosted tool, without cookies and without advertising identifiers.

In the app, at launch: your email, username, avatar, timezone, session goals and tasks. That is all.

What we do not collect

Your video and audio travel peer to peer, directly between the participants of a room. They do not pass through our servers, are never recorded, never stored, never analysed.

Where the data lives

On servers located in the European Union. It is not sold, not shared, and not used for anything other than running the service.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can request access, rectification or deletion of your data at any time. Deleting your account actually deletes the associated data. One address is enough: hello@joinkowo.com.

Your address is only used to send your invitation. No hidden newsletter, one click unsubscribe in every email.
